And today when they pass on the street, they give a little silly grin, throw their head up in the air. Oh, my. No wonder the love's gone. I despise that old somebody feel they're bigger than somebody else. After all, you're six foot of earth. That's all you are. That's right, everybody. Not long ago, I was standing by a museum. There's a picture of a man there, a hundred and fifty pounds. And it--it give the analysis of the chemicals of his body. He's worth eighty-four cents. That's all a hundred and fifty pound man's worth, is eighty-four cents. But he will be sure to put a ten dollar hat on that eighty-four cents and think he's something big. That's right. A woman will wrap that eighty-four cents up in a hundred dollar fur coat and won't speak to half her neighbors. What's the matter? The love of God takes you somewhere. That's right. What is it? It's still eighty-four cents. You will take care of that all right. But that soul's worth ten thousand worlds, you will let anything be poked down it. That's right. That's the truth.

Believest Thou This
His birth, when Jesus was born on earth, He had a black mark to begin with. He was always received by the common people, and scorned mostly by the--the religious sect of the people in them days, and--and of the great ritzy and high minded people. And it's just about that way today too. It's the same. Not as I'm trying to say that rich or ritzy people cannot be saved; they can, if they'll humble themselves and come like the rest of them. But we must all come in one way: that's come, knowing that we are nothing and He's all; and being willing to surrender ourselves to Him in order to receive benefits from Him. If you ever get anything from God, you have to humble yourself and become nothing before Him, and know nothing, but one purpose; that is, you're trying to find Jesus. Then when you humble yourself down, God will exalt. But when you exalt yourself, God will see that you are brought to abase. That's right. He said so in His Word.

The Serpent’s Seed
The Bible said that we were predestinated to the sons and adoption of the sons of God before the foundation of the world. Then when God slayed the Lamb in His Own thinking before the foundation of the world to prove out His attributes, what He was, when the Lamb was slain, we were slain with It. When the Blood of the Lamb was caught in His Own mind back there before the foundation of the world, mine and your names were written on the Book then. All in His great thinking. He's infinite. If He didn't, why did He permit it? Which is the strongest, (I've said,) a Saviour or sinner? Which has got the most strength? Then the stronger had to permit the lesser. And He only does it for His glory. When He made Lucifer, He knowed he would be the devil. And He had to let it be there to show that He was the Saviour, the Christ. He had to let it happen that way. Now, don't the Bible say all things work together for good to them that love God? So what are you scared about? Let us be up and doing with a heart for any strife. Be not like dumb driven cattle, had to be begged and persuaded and... Be a hero. I like that. Stand up.

The Mark Of The Beast And The Seal Of God
But I imagine Abel's offering wasn't so good. Probably didn't have any hemp in that day, so must've had a grapevine wrapped around that little old lamb's neck, led it up there and laid it upon the rock. He didn't have a lance or a knife in then, so he must've took a--a piece of rock, pulled its little head back, and begin to chop its little neck. And as it begin to bleat and kick, and the blood going all over him, bleeding, bleating, dying on the rock... What did it represent? Four thousand years later, the Lamb of God hacked to death on the rock of ages, bleeding, bleating, speaking in tongues as He was dying on Calvary. "Oh, dear dying Lamb, Thy precious Blood shall never lose its power till all the ransomed church of God be saved to sin no more." Our educational programs, denominational programs will mean not that [Brother Branham snaps his fingers--Ed.]; it'll take the of Blood of Jesus Christ and nothing else to do it. Yes.

You Must Be Born Again
And to be--to approach this birth, you have to go through a process, just like anything that lives. Anything that lives again's got to die first. And you cannot keep your same spirit. You cannot keep your same habits. You cannot keep your same thoughts. You got to die. You've got to die like He died. You got to die on His altar, like Abel did with his lamb. You got to die with your Lamb. You got to die, die to your own thinking to be born to His thinking. Let the mind that was in Christ be in you. You got to think His thoughts. And now, brother, sister, let me say this as intelligent as I know how to say it. How can you think His thoughts and deny His Word, and yet claim you're born again? Just ask yourself that question. How can you do it? You can't. If you're born again, you got His thoughts. If the mind of Christ is in you, then you are a new creature.

Someone the other day, teaching, said, talking about Apollos, up there, that good Baptist preacher. Paul walked up to him said, "Oh, yes, you're a fine fellow, but have you received the Holy Ghost since you believed?" He said, "Oh, oh, I--I thought I got the Holy Ghost when I believed." They still teach that, but it's wrong. Faith's all right. Faith is good. Faith's got... Abraham believed God, and it was imputed unto him by-or for righteousness, but God give him the seal of circumcision as a seal of his faith. Brethren, when you got pure genuine faith in God, God will give you the baptism of the Holy Ghost as a seal of the promise, which is a seal, that you have faith. You might make a--a--a some kind of an impression, or make people believe, or you might say you got faith, but when you really got genuine unadulterated faith, God will give you the baptism of the Holy Ghost as a seal of the promise. Amen. That's not skim milk now, children. Now remember, take it, believe it. Put your faith and turn it loose yonder with God, and the Holy Ghost will come upon you. He promised it. Then, brother, the devil looked like a little bitty fellow.

The Voice Of God In This Last Day
In spite of all this impersonations, false voices, false prophets, all these other things that's rising up, Jesus still said, in spite of all of this, "If any man will hear My Voice and follow after Me." He is the Word. Listen, His commission to us today, in all these voices. Which, I said it would take hours to bring out all these voices. And it's confusing to the people, it's a pathetic thing. And, after all, you don't get the second chance, you got to take It now. You might not get a chance tonight. You might not get a chance tomorrow. It's now! "When you hear My Voice, harden not your heart, as in the days of provocation. Now is the time. This is the acceptable time that if any man will hear My Voice." That goes to show that His Voice would still be there in the midst of all the chaos. He's still got a Voice!

Dedication
God always fills His temple. At the day of dedication He fills His temple. He fills it with Hisself. The same thing, today. God will fill every temple that will thoroughly dedicate itself to Him, any persons that will. The temple is not this little building here. The temple is not the one in Salt Lake City. The temple is not the one in Rome. The temple is you. You are the temple that God wants to dwell in and express Hisself through it, that all nations might know Him. You are living images of God, that God wants to work through. And any time that any man or any woman will forget all the falsehood that they've heard in the world, and come back to the line of the Scripture, and will keep in line. Just like, Solomon did to what Moses did. Moses did to what God did. God always respected it. And if we'll come back to the original dedication and will open our hearts and empty ourselves, God, in dedication, as we give it to Him, will fill our temple with His Shekinah glory.

The Power Of The Devil
And tonight, maybe a cancer has conquered you; maybe something else has taken a hold of you, some disease, even the disease of sin, or whatever it is. It may look dark and gloomy to you now; may look like you'll never recover, maybe look like you can't get over that TB, that prostate trouble, or that lung trouble, whatever it is, that tumor, that crippled condition. The doctor may say every hope is gone. But standing right by your side tonight, ready to take you in possession, stands the eyes of faith who sees the victory yonder through the Lord Jesus Christ. Hallelujah. Away with Satan and his gloom, and up with faith in the Lord Jesus Christ, the faith of Almighty God. Faith can take its holy stand on the Rock of Ages, and pierce a eagle eye through every stormy cloud when the very waves of death and disappointment's trying to wash its foundation out from under it. It can stand there and look beyond the skies and say, "God is right," and believe the counsel of the wise and living God. Amen.

Did you ever think of this? Let me just ask you something. Look at me a minute. This is my hand; that's my finger; this is my ear; this is my nose; but who's me? That's not me. That's something belongs to me. See? This is my hand, but who is me that owns the hand? See, this is just a house I'm living in. What kind of... Well, there's got to be something in there called "me." "Me's" got to be somewhere, because this is mine. You see it? "Me" is somebody, because I own something. I have a hand. It's mine. Well, who's "me" that that belongs to? That's your spirit. Well, it depends on what kind of a spirit that is. Who you yield your members to, that's whose servant you are.

A Greater Than Solomon Is Here Now
And when man impersonates something, it's never works out right. But if you can get a hold of that Something, and that Something get a hold of you, it's going to happen. If you come here tonight for healing, and let the Holy Spirit get a hold of you, and you get a hold of It, you are going to get what you ask for. There is no way of keeping you from It. You come believing that Jesus Christ saves, and there is a saving power gets a hold of you, and you a hold to It, you are going to get saved. If you believe in the baptism of the Holy Spirit, and the Holy Spirit gets a hold of you, and He'll baptize you, and you get a hold of Him; you won't have to move from your seat, He will fill you with His Presence right there where you are. Just as He did, "While Peter yet spake these words, the Holy Ghost fell on them that heard It." Something got a hold!

Images Of Christ
It's been told me by authorities, that before they had the days of the smelter to take the s--the dross out of the gold--take the iron and the pyrite. The pyrite is so close like the real gold, till it's called the fool's gold. But the way they got all that out, that they beat it out with a hammer. The Indians used to do that. And the old goldsmiths used to do it. Beat it with a hammer, and turn it over and over, and beat until all the dross was out of it. And the only way that they knew that it was down to the gold, was when the beater could see his reflection in it. The one who was beating could constantly look until he could almost shave by his own reflection in the gold that he was beating. And when the Holy Spirit of God begins to beat on us with the Gospel hammer, until all of the things of the world is beaten out and we can reflect the image of the Lord God, then I believe we become Christians. For the word "Christian" means "Christ-like," and to reflect Him.
